About us

We have delivered community regeneration services since 1998, becoming an independent charity in 2005.  We work in London’s most disadvantaged neighbourhoods, to alleviate the consequences of deprivation on the lives of people who engage with our initiatives.  Our award-winning projects promote economic development through programmes in learning and skills, employability and job brokerage, social enterprise and environmental campaigns.  We promote learning and creativity with young people through schools and outreach.  This creates opportunities for apprenticeships or a bridge back to education for young people who have fallen out of the system.

We place a strong emphasis on good governance.  Vital Regeneration is governed by a Board of eight Trustees, all leaders in their field, who are also the Directors of the company.

We started out in 1998 and were established an independent charity in 2005. We continue to develop projects that deliver skills, confidence and aspiration to the many people we work with.

Our Annual Report provides a snapshot of our developments, activities, innovations and the success stories of the people and communities that we work with.

Vital Regeneration has grown significantly since 2005.  Our trustees, management and staff are committed to developing the charity to extend its impact, with imaginative programmes to engage individuals and to support them to achieve.

Vital Regeneration is committed to quality assurance and has worked hard to achieve three quality standards within three years.  We hold Investors in People for our staff development programme and the Matrix Standard for advice and guidance.  Investing in Volunteers demonstrates that voluntary workers have opportunities to develop and progress within Vital Regeneration.
