Efi has volunteered on the Re-Evolve project for five months as the PR and Communications volunteer.  She has been an invaluable member of the team, continually focused and dedicated to Re-Evolve’s vision.  Efi is a well-motivated and hardworking individual, who has been a real asset to our working environment.  In the SMART goals Efi set at the start of her volunteering, she said that her dream job would be to work for an international charity.  Since that time, she has supported the team in a wide range of activities, primarily supporting our events organisation and project evaluation.  In one of her blogs on the Re-Evolve website, Efi summed up her enthusiasm with the phrase ‘Remember life’s not evolving...if you’re not Re-Evolve – ing.’

To support Efi with her professional development, Re-Evolve provided training in Presentation and Debating Skills.  She has used all of this experience to her best advantage, by continually updating her CV and applying for challenging roles.  Throughout this process, she received support both from Re-Evolve staff and peer mentors.  She has now secured her first paid job, working as a receptionist at the Brent Association for Voluntary Action (BrAVA) and seeks to progress her career further from this point.
