Location

Play Space is an after school creative workshop based on healthy lifestyles.  The project is led by professional artists and uses drawing, movement, dance, music, animation and sculpture to explore concepts of healthy eating and healthy active lifestyles for Key Stage 2 and 3 children.

The aims of Play Space are:

• Promote and encourage healthy eating in a creative, fun and participatory way
• To create a safe and information learning environment
• To promote healthy lifestyle advice so learners can make informed decisions about their lifestyle, including how often they exercise
• To provide access to healthy eating information for learners and their families
• To provide referrals to Kickstart for children who are overweight (91st percentile)
