Halloween Fun at Greenside
Over 100 local residents attended a Halloween Party at The Greenside Community Centre on Lisson Green Estate on October 31st. This event was organised by Lisson Green Tenants and Residents Association and Vital Regeneration. It was a very fun afternoon and activities included a fancy dress competition, scary games and even some ghost dancing.
Cllr Toki Aziz had the tough task of choosing the winners of the fancy dress competition. He said: "I was delighted to judge the competition. All the children looked very scary in their costumes and went to a lot of effort so it was a really tough decision to choose the best." We had 3 winners in the under 5 category and 3 in the over 5’s. The prizes of vouchers were kindly donated by Residential Management Group.
Children made scary fridge magnets and got a chance to search for bones in our ‘cauldron of goo’. The day finished with refreshments and all the children received Halloween goody bags to take home.
