Celebrating Matrix Accreditation Success
Vital Regeneration’s Employability Services have been re-accredited by the Matrix Standard, in full, with no conditions.
The Matrix Standard is the unique quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. It is useful for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance to external clients as part of their business and also for employers who are committed to developing their people.
Vital Regeneration was first awarded the Matrix Standard back in May 2006 and has worked hard since then to continue to meet the requirements of the Standard and ensure that its principles have been embedded into their Employability service.
Matrix Assessor, Kim Howard, was on site for three days which involved rigorous exploration through interviewing seven members of staff, nine external partners and 19 clients across all Employability services. His feedback report on the final day was excellent and exemplary, stating that:
Vital Regeneration has developed significantly since 2006. A programme of sustainable growth continues as the company looks towards extending Employability provision further. A dynamic and successful service provider with an optimistic vision for the future was described by partners as ‘young’, ‘thrusting’, ‘forceful’, ‘bright’, ‘ambitious’, ‘enthusiastic’, and ‘motivated’.
Other partners fed back that Vital Regeneration was 'not shying away from real issues' and that there was 'a real appetite for regeneration'.
Thanks to Judith McKee, Dan Williams and Helen Forde who led this project formidably and the rest of the Employability team who did an excellent and collaborative job in getting the service fully prepared for the re-accreditation.
Vital Regeneration will now hold the accreditation for a further 3 years.
