NEET Debate with The Conservatives, Liberal Democrats and Labour

On 27th January 2010, Vital Regeneration’s Deputy Chief Executive, Katy Haigh, took part in Roundhouse Radio’s “NEET Ideas Debate” with a panel of representatives from the Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, Labour and the National Union of Students.

With a full audience of young people from across London, panelists were grilled on issues ranging from whether Politics should be re-introduced as a GCSE, to the Future Jobs Fund, to 14-19 Diplomas, to the Education Maintenance Allowance to how charities can be instrumental in preventing young people becoming disillusioned with education.
