During December 2009, The Show Case project participants visited the Royal Festival Hall to hear the Philharmonic Orchestra perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto Number Three and Mahler’s Symphony Number Nine in the grand main concert hall.

 
Whilst impressed by the grand scale of the venue and the acoustics, not all felt that they appreciated classical music as a genre but welcomed the new experience and are now one step closer to completing their Arts Awards portfolios.
