Studio+ and Westminster Connexions have teamed up to deliver the excellent music production youth engagement programme to their young parents’ group for the next 11 weeks.  In particular, the young parents are keen to develop their literacy skills, carefully embedded into the curriculum, whilst learning how to produce their individual music tracks.

Hulda Francois-Camero is the group’s coordinator and has already enrolled eight of the young parents, predominantly young mothers or mothers-to-be, for the September start.  Connexions PAs will also be working closely with the project's participants offering extra-curricular support to help carve out their post-programme progression routes into further education, employment or training.
 
For this special partnership delivery, Studio+ will use its mobile recording studio and deliver at the Westminster Connexions site in Cosway Street.
