As part of the Arts Awards portfolios, the Studio+ young mothers group were required to pass on their arts skill to others by leading a short workshop.  For this special assignment, Studio+ teamed up with local primary school, St Edwards, who kindly offered this unique opportunity to seven of their Year 5 & 6 pupils, to run a short workshop in music production.

The young mums demonstrated thorough preparation of their session for the pupils, launching a demonstration of the Logic software using a mobile music production studio.  The pupils became very quickly acquainted with the equipment and had all created a short music track within the first half hour of the session.  The success of the event proved to the young mum's that they are natural teachers and possess an excellent knowledge of the music production software. 

St.  Edwards’ pupils bounced enthusiastically back to their classrooms, inspired by the new experience of music production, and a CD copy of their own music tracks in hand.
