Young Volunteers Turn It Around

A fresh challenge was taken on by a group of young volunteers referred onto the Re-Evolve project by The Prince’s Trust.  They attended a series of practical workshops to learn how to use flip cameras and i-Movie software to make films.  The group filmed and edited interviews with inspirational professionals they had met on their work placements.

The challenge was a great way for the team to focus on what careers motivate them, as well as to learn fun and vocational filming and editing skills.  Full and part-time young volunteers also helped peer-deliver the programme, with the assistance of documentary film-maker, Roy Heath.

The videos can be downloaded from the Re-Evolve website.  The team hopes that they will inspire other young people to reflect on what careers they would like to go into.
