Vital Regeneration’s flagship community facility, The Greenside Community Centre is on the Lisson Green Estate in north Westminster.  It is situated at the heart of Church Street ward.

It is the focal point for our community development work, serving as a hub of social, educational and leisure activities for local people.

Greenside works in partnership with other local organisations to deliver a vibrant programme of activity.  It is designed to address community needs, offering a varied selection of high quality events for all ages and backgrounds throughout the year.

Lisson Green Estate has undergone a huge Estate Action regeneration programme over the last 10 years.  The old Tenants’ Hall was demolished and replaced by a purpose built community centre.  Greenside houses the local Estate Office (housing management services).  It has a large hall, which hosts community events and services, an array of children’s facilities and an outdoor playground.  The Centre also houses a permanent IT training centre, which delivers free training in IT, digital media, employability and ESOL (English for speakers of other languages).  The new Greenside Community Centre opened to the public in 2005.

The Centre has a large hall available for hire, industry standard catering kitchen and an outdoor playground for Under 5s.  The hall is designed to accommodate up to 170 people and is suitable to host private functions, meetings, training days, staging exhibitions, displays and public events.  It can also be divided to cater for smaller groups.
