Community Spaces Hub

Venues and Facilities to hire

The Communtiy Spaces Hub venues are available to hire to community, voluntary, statutory, commercial groups and residents.  They are suitable for a variety of activities including weekly clubs and classes, private parties and events, meetings, conferences and interviews.  Hire charges are from £10 to £30 per hour.  Catering services can be arranged alongside space hire at a discounted rate from local suppliers for teas and coffees, lunch or dinner.  All facilities have disabled access.  To download our brochure and see our hire charges.  Please click this link

There are five facilities available to hire:

 

1.  Hiring Greenside:

The Greenside Community Centre is ideal to host private functions, meetings, training days, staging exhibitions, displays and public events.  It is designed to accommodate up to 170 people and the centre is accessible for people with disabilities.  The space is flexible and can be partitioned into two distinct areas.

The Facilities
The Greenside Community Centre can be hired 7 days a week from 9.00am to 9.00pm.  It offers the following facilities:
• Sound System with multi CD player
• Microphones with stands
• Digital Projector and screen for training and conferences
• WiFi enabled
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Flipchart stand
• Tables and chairs
• Under 5’s playground
• Parent and baby facilities
• Also for hire: Laptop suite

2.  Hiring Church Street Library Community Space

The Church Street Library Community Space is ideal to host meetings, training days, staging exhibitions, displays and public events.  It is designed to accommodate up to 20 people board room style or 40 theatre style, the facility is accessible for people with disabilities. 

The Facilities
The Church Street Library Community Space can be hired 6 days a week, Monday - Friday 9.30am to 7.00pm, on Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.  It offers the following facilities:

• Kitchenette
• Wifi enabled
• Digital Projector and screen for training and conferences
• Flipchart stands
• Tables and chairs

3.  Hiring Church Street Library Meeting Rooms

The Church Street Library Meeting Rooms are an ideal facility to host small meetings and one to one sessions.  Two private meeting rooms are available for hire.  The facility is accessible for people with disabilities. 

The Facilities
The Church Street Library Meeting Rooms can be hired 6 days a week, Monday - Friday 9.30am to 7.00pm, on Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.  It offers the following facilities:

• One table, three chairs
• Wifi enabled

4.  Hiring Derry Hall

Located just off Church Street/Penfold Street, Derry Hall is a small sized community facility suitable for a variety of different functions.  The facility can accommodate up to 30.  Derry Hall is available for hire £10 per hour.

Derry Hall can be hired 7 days a week from 9.00am to 9.00pm.  It offers the following facilities:

• Kitchen
• Digital Projector and screen for training and conferences
• Flipchart stands
• Tables and chairs

5.  Hiring Fisherton Hall

Located at the end of Luton Street on the Fisherton Estate, Fisherton Hall is a compact community facility suitable for a variety of different functions.  The facility can accommodate up to 20.  Fisherton Hall is available for hire £10 per hour.

The Facilities.  Fisherton Hall can be hired 7 days a week from 9.00am to 9.00pm.  It offers the following facilities:

• Kitchenette
• WiFi enabled
• Flipchart stands
• Tables and chairs

Get involved

Could you help to run The Greenside Community Centre? You could build on your skills and confidence by volunteering to work with us part-time as a receptionist.  If you have some basic knowledge of using a computer, you could improve your skills and get some practical experience to add to your CV.  And you’d be helping the local community too.  Cick this link to Get Involved.
